Tom Classen, 84 years, of Petrolia died peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia. Tom was the loving husband of Barb (Innes) and the late Diane (nee Phillips)(2006). He will be missed by his children Jeff and Connie Classen of Petrolia, Scott & Tracy Classen of London, Darren Classen of Sarnia and Stephanie Ramsay and the late Kim Wikholm, his grandchildren of Bobbi Lee and Jeff, Kristina and Dean, Nicole, Jamie and Christina , Kristin, Courtney, Casandra, and Kirk and Michelle, and his great grandchildren Robbie, Kassidy, Kadence, Charlotte, Olivia, Xander, Keira, and Liam. He will be missed by his step-children Terry, Doug, and Nancy and their families. Tom was predeceased by his siblings Elsie, Ed, Ron, Grace, and Margaret. Tom started at Dome petroleum in 1970 and retired 38 years. He was an avid golfer and curler at Glenview Golf and Curling Club, and enjoyed his time in the choir at Wyoming United Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia. Visitors will be received prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Hillsdale Cemetery. YOU ARE ASKED TO CONTINUE MASKING IN THE FUNERAL HOME.
