Died peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. ROGER TROTTIER, 81 years, of Sarnia was formerly of Chatham. He will be missed by his wife 53 years Shirley. He was the step-father of Debbie (the late Jim) Miller and the late Barry (Kathleen) Mogk, and a father to Bridgette Trottier. He will be missed by his grandchildren Lindsay (Jeff) Mailloux, Jaime (Lou) Harse, Ronald (Janet) Mogk, Christopher (Brenda) Mogk, and Cameron (Clarissa) Mogk, and his nine great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sister Aline (the late Lou) Melnychuck, his brother Lou (Stella) Trottier, and a sister-in-law Denise. Roger was predeceased by his parents Alcide and Marie Trottier, and brothers Bernard, Pete, George (the late Aline), Jules (the late Dale) and Henri. A grocer his whole life Roger worked as a produce supervisor at Safeway in Toronto and later at IGA in Ridgetown. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice (www.stjosephshospice.ca).
