John Henderson

October 3, 1933 - November 8, 2021

Peacefully at C.E.E. Petrolia on Monday, November 8,2021 John Lorne Henderson Of Oil Springs formerly of Toronto at the age of 88. John is survived by his wife, partner and friend of 42 yrs. He is survived by his sister Beryl Barry (Bernie), Step-son Les Hubble (Jane), Step-daughters Donna Battle (Scott), and Kimberly Battle (Randy) Predeceased by his parents William (1971) and Myrtle (1966). Also predeceased by his sisters Florence (1943) and Muriel (2019) (Mike 1990) Surcon. Also predeceased by his brothers Jim(2011) (Ruth 2007) and Bill (1980) (Trudy). Also predeceased by 3 Step-sons, Ted Hubble (1974) Rick McKenzie (2008) (Lois) and Fred Hubble (2015). John will be sadly missed by numerous Grandchildren, Great and Great-children. John was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 635 Brigden. Many thanks to Jocelyn, John's homecare nurse, Dr. Justin Mall, Dr. David Kim and all the staff and EMS at C.E.E. Petrolia for their caring and comforting help. A special thank you to my family, work family and all our friends that have taken this long journey with me. In lieu of flowers a donation to the St. Joseph's Hospice or a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Resthaven Cemetary in Scarborough will be had at a later date.
