Dolores Trevail

August 3, 1929 - January 5, 2018

Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. DOLORES TREVAIL (nee McVicar), of Petrolia, was in her 89th year. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Earle (1983) and her son Mark (1956). She will be missed by her children, Bob (Pat) Trevail, Brian (Brenda) Trevail, Karen (Tim) Young, and Janice Trevail. Dolores was a loving grandmother to Sarah (Brian) Perry, Sabrina (Michael Stonefish) Young, Meagan (Chris) Wright, Stephen Young, Amy (Ried) Beynon, and Erin Trevail and a great grandmother to Haylee Soble, Briseis Stonefish, Ayla Perry, Benjamin Perry, and Wyatt Beynon. She was a loved sister to Jim (Carole) McVicar and the late Robert McVicar (1952). She will also be missed by her loving companions, Lilly and Gracie. Dolores was a graduate of Laurentian University with Bachelor degrees in Law & Justice and Native Studies and of Fanshawe College with a Library Technician Diploma. Visitors will be received on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:00p.m. to 12:45p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, where a service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery.
