Peacefully, at his home, on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. ALLAN POWNALL, 75 years, of Sarnia. Beloved husband of Arlene. Dear father of Rob Pownall of Belleville, Tom and Lisa Pownall of Bothwell, Nancy Pownall of Coquitlam, BC, and stepfather of Tim Dudka and Richard Dudka, both of Mississauga. Allan will be missed by his grandchildren James, Nichole, Trevor and Bryan. Dear brother of Beverley and Roger Hill of Pacific Grove, CA, the late Rev. Carol Skidmore and her husband Harold of Burlington, and the late Shirley. Allan was a dear friend to Kim and Diane Nelles of Petrolia. Allan retired in 1990 from CN, with 37 years of service. Visitors will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where a funeral service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with Mrs. Angela MacDonald officiating.
