Peacefully, at the Watford Quality Care Centre, on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. ITJE (IDA) HOEKSEMA, (nee Bos), 91 years, formerly of Wyoming and Watford. Beloved wife of the late John Hoeksema (2006). Loving mother of Maaike and Henry Froelich of London, Rennie and Web Boersma of Wyoming, Hank and Betty Hoeksema of Watford, Jenny and Ron Wagenaar of Grimsby, Rose and Steve Back of London, Ella and Charlie Lueck of Alabama, Joanne and Ron Moore of Wyoming and Ian and Julie Hoeksema of Bancroft. Dear grandmother to twenty grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ralph and Jacoba Bos of Strathroy. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Hoeksema-Hoving of Wyoming. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Visitors will be received on Friday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, Broadway St., Wyoming. Further visitation will be held at the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church, Confederation St., Wyoming, on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Droogers officiating. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation.
