Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Monday, May 17, 2010. EVELYN BRIMMER (nee Donald), 95 years, of Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late Fred Brimmer (1969). Loving mother of Don and Pat Brimmer of Camlachie. Special grandmother of Nathaniel and Trisha Brimmer. Dear aunt of Shirley Knight of Brantford, June Bonish of Thunder Bay, Joyce Trott of Mississauga and Patricia Guthrie of Calgary. Special friend to Janet and Dick Bradley of Petrolia. Predeceased by her brothers Charles and Raymond Donald. Evelyn was a dedicated member of Christ Anglican Church, the A.C.W. at Christ Church, a member and past-president of the Senior Friendship Club and a member of the Petrolia Reading Club. Visitors will be received at CHRIST ANGLICAN CHURCH, Oil St., Petrolia, on Thursday May 20, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Evelyn Brimmer will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nancy Adams officiating. Interment of cremated remains to follow in Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Christ Anglican Church Memorial Fund or the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation.
