Betty Bellavance Thursday, January 03, 1929 - Monday, May 17, 2010 It is with great sadness the family of Betty Bellavance (nee McCallum), 81 years, announce her passing at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, May 17, 2010. Betty will lovingly be missed by her husband Rod, her children Richard and Becky Bellavance of Camlachie, Denise and Dean Ireland of Wyoming, and Elizabeth Bellavance and Keith Douglas of Camlachie, her grandchildren Danielle Bellavance, Colin Bellavance, Lee Bellavance, Jesse Ireland, and Kevin Ireland, and her step -grandchildren Meaghan McLachlin and Emily McLachlin. Betty was the sister of Sandy McCallum and his wife Kish and Sadie Wilder, and a sister-in-law of Tom Currell. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was a dear friend to Cathy Finn and was lovingly cared for by Elsa Marquez. Betty was predeceased by her parents Malcolm and Frances McCallum, a sister Margaret Curell, and a brother-in-law Gord Wilder. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May, 20, 2010 at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia. Visitors will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia-Lambton(www.stjosephshospice.ca).
