Peacefully, at the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia, on Friday, May 14, 2010. LOUISE SYKES (nee Hackett) 84 years, of Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late Bill Sykes (1987). Loving mother of Susan and Ron Copley, John and Debbie Sykes, Joyce and Ron Maw and Stephen (Sid) Sykes all of Petrolia. Dear sister of Betty and Bill Anderson of Petrolia, the late Marion (2008) and George (2003) King and the late Bill Hackett (1998) and his wife Betty of Petrolia. Loving grandmother of Craig and Colin Copley, Shelley Greene, Corey Britney and Brooke Sykes and Marcia, Jeff, Dale and Lyndsay Maw. Also survived by six great grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Ted and Edith Sykes of Sarnia. Visitors will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Robert M. Gibson officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
