Memorial Les Charlton Wednesday, June 22, 1949 - Saturday, May 08, 2010 At Bluewater Health – Palliative Care, on Saturday, May 8, 2010. LES CHARLTON, 60 years, of Oil City. Loving husband of Sandra (nee Sauve). Dear father of Dale and Mary Ann Charlton of Sarnia and Jamie Charlton and friend Kate of Oil City, grandfather of Ashley and her fiancé Greg, Brendon, Carter, April, Christopher and Michael, and great grandfather of Haylie, Jace and Leigha. Les will be missed by his mother, Fay Charlton of Petrolia, his sisters Elizabeth and Bob Bailey of Petrolia, Isobel and Jim Coke of Wyoming, and Susan and Bill McCorkindale of Glencoe, and his mother-in-law Winnifred Sauve of Cold Lake, Alberta. Les was predeceased by his father George Charlton and his father-in-law James Sauve. Visitors will be received on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Bluewater Health Foundation (Palliative Care).
