Siep Wilpstra, 78 years, of Wyoming went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 5, 2010 at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. Siep will be missed by his wife Atty. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather to Nel and Peter Valkenier of Surrey, B.C. and their son Joshua, Ren and Bruce Douglas of Victoria, B.C. and their children Heather (Josh Neufeld) and Brian (Leanne) and their grandchildren Jamie, Justin, and Cardell, Selma and Halbe Doornbosch of Richmond Hill and their children Jessica and Jamie, Steve Wilpstra of Strathroy and his children Sid, Nick, and Aleah, and Audrey and Harry VanRuitenburg of Wyoming and their children Jared, Marisa, Caleb, and Josiah. He is also survived by his sister Tjaakje Beijer of the Netherlands and was predeceased by his brothers Henry, Jan, and Harm. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, Broadway St., Wyoming. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church (Confederation Line east of Broadway St.). Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario(www.heartandstroke.ca).
