At Bluewater Health – Mitton Site, Sarnia on Monday, March 29, 2010. ALBERT BAUR, 79 years, of Petrolia. Albert was a loving husband to Karen (nee Koester). He will be missed by his daughters Irene and Nelson Peters of Sarnia, Wendy and Charlie Dunn of Petrolia, and Kim and Brian Heaman of Camlachie. He was the loved opa to Tiffany Dunn, Harley Dunn, Kody Heaman, and Luke Heaman. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters, Fritz and Lotte Baur of Germany, Heinrich and Maria Baur of Germany, Anna (the late Hubert) Yap of Palgrave, Marie and Peter Gerster of Germany, and Hilda and George Mack of Germany and by a sister-in-law Sigrid Baur of Germany. He was predeceased by a sister Emma Bopp and a brother George Baur. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation.
