Peacefully, at the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia, on Saturday, March 13, 2010. TOM HEXT, 95 years of Petrolia. Beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Boyd) (1964). Loving father of Bob and Betty of Wyoming, and Rick and Liz, Dave and Janet and Jim and Tracy all of Petrolia. Dear grandfather of Tammy and Noel Bowes, Pam Hext and Mark LeRuez, Kerri and Jason McKichan, Scott Hext and Marlene, Kelly Hext, Corrie Hext, Tara and Ken Chipman, Nick Hext and Lexie Hext. Also survived by five great grandchildren, Sydney, Aidan, Evan, Jenna and Tabitha and a sister-in-law, Birdie Hext of Aylmer. Dear friend of the late Betty Marcham. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Louise and John Hext, his brothers, Jack and Jim Hext and sisters, Jean, Helen and Alice Hext, Marion Gordon and Louise Cox. Visitors will be received on Tuesday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNEAL HOME, Petrolia, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Robert M. Gibson officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery., Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the C.E.E.
