At Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Friday, March 12, 2010. IRENE McNALLY (nee Hill) 88 years, formerly of Petrolia and Inwood. Beloved wife of the late Garnet (2005). Loving mother of Larry and Brenda and Don and Kathy all of Inwood and Phil and Lori of Port Lambton. Cherished grandmother of Terry, Todd, Tim, Mark, Marty, Kristy, Kyle, Eric, Daniel and Benjamin and great grandmother to seven great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Adeline Swan of Inwood and Anna Mae Wallis of Chatham. Predeceased by brothers, Donald Hill and Stuart McMahon, sister, Annabelva and Lloyd Dudley, brother-in-law, Ross McNally and sister-in-law, Evelyn Smith. Irene assumed her parent’s mail route and delivered the mail for the Inwood rural postal route for 42 years. Visitors will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Robert M. Gibson officiating. Interment in Alvinston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. In their retirement, Irene and Garnet enjoyed traveling with the Golden Horseshoe motor home club.
