. BETTY SNYDER (nee Rowland) 76 years, of Petrolia. Loving wife to Bob. Devoted mother to Jim and Pam of Forest, Roy and Sheryl of Petrolia and Cathy and John Lowe of Vancouver. Loving grandmother to Brian, Melanie and Elaine Snyder, Jessica and Morgan Tomlinson and Kaitlyn Snyder and David and Rachael Lowe. Dear great grandmother of Seth and Skylar Tomlinson. Dear sister of Richard and Bonnie Rowland of Ocala, FL, the late Bill Rowland (2000) and his wife Pat of Forest and the late Robert Rowland (1974). Betty was a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Church and the U.C.W. at the church and a 50-year member of the Margaret Stokes Chapter of I.O.D.E. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church, Petrolia, with Rev. Dr. Robert M. Gibson officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the St. Paul’s United Church Memorial Fund.
