David Podolinsky Friday, November 13, 1964 - Monday, November 30, 2009 Suddenly, at the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia on Monday, November 30, 2009. DAVID PODOLINSKY, 45 years, of Alvinston. David was a loving husband to Linda (nee Johnson) and father to Bradley, Kevin, Rodney, and Ashley. He will be missed by his mother Anne Podolinsky of Alvinston, his brothers Rick and Marcia Podolinsky of Alvinston and Louie and Anita Podolinsky of Petrolia, and his sister Julie and Barry Shymko of Petrolia. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law Ileen Johnson of Petrolia, and his brothers-in-law Leonard Johnson and Vi Smith of Sarnia, Larry Johnson of Petrolia and Brian and Cathy Johnson of Petrolia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his father Ludvik Podolinsky(1999) and his father-in-law Harold Johnson(2005). Visitors will be received on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. Parish prayers will be offered on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Philip’s Parish, Petrolia, on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Alvinston. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
