At Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Saturday, October 17, 2009. MARY GOULD (nee Robbins) 94 years, of Petrolia. Beloved wife of the late William Gould (1976). Loving mother of Arlene Glendenning and her friend Hugh Gillard of Bright’s Grove and David Gould of Petrolia. Cherished grandmother of Greg and Vera Glendenning of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Alan and Shirley Glendenning of Kitchener and great grandmother to Lee and Mariah and Rachel and A.J. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a son-in-law, Jack Glendenning, brothers, William, Earl and Russell Robbins and a sister Muriel Chalk. Mary was a member of St. Paul’s United Church and the U.C.W. at the church and a former member of the Senior Friendship Club. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Jessie Dobbyn officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the St. Paul’s United Church Memorial Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
