At Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia, on Friday, October 9, 2009. FLOSSIE BELLE ATCHISON (nee Webster), 94 years, formerly of Edys Mills. Dear wife of the late Lester Atchison. Loving mother of Donald Atchison of Camlachie, Doris Springett of London, Lorraine Atchison of Oil Springs and Ilene and Joe Armstrong of Edys Mills. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Tim Armstrong, Cherie Jacklin, Kelly, Heather and Jason Springett, Lester and Jeanette Atchison, and her great grandchildren, Alysha, Paris, Kelsey and Joseph. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Flossie was predeceased by her son Franklin, her son-in-law Art Springett, her grandson Rod Armstrong, and her brothers and sisters, Alvin (Robert) Webster, Helen Gillette, Rev. Darryl Webster, Lloyd Webster, Shirley White and Ralph Webster. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where a funeral service to celebrate Flossie’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Mark Perry officiating. Interment in Oil Springs Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Humane Society of Sarnia-Lambton, or the Fiddick’s Nursing Home Activity Fund.
