Ann (Annigje) (nee Bouter) of Sarnia, formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away September 27, 2009 at the age of 94. Ann was born in Oud Alblas, Holland and emigrated to Canada in 1953, living first in the Strathroy and Arkona area, and later, with her husband Dirk owned and operated the family business, East End Gardens in Petrolia. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dirk (1980) and her parents Maarten and Annigje (Triet) Bouter. Survived by children Grace (John) Kuiken of Golden Lake, Casey (Gladys) den Boer of Wallaceburg, Hank (Alice) den Boer of Sarnia, Martin (Ann) den Boer of Petrolia, Ann (Calvin) Armstrong of Chatham, and John (Vonda) Den Boer of Corunna. Ann was a proud grandmother of fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Ann was a member of the Sunset Rebekah Lodge # 185 of Sombra and Past Noble Grand of the Carnation Rebekah Lodge #58. A private family service will be held.
