At the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia, on Monday, September 14, 2009. WILHELMINE (WILLIE) STATTON (nee Capes), 92 years, of Wyoming. Dear wife of the late Garnet (1986). Loving mother of Margaret and Grant Maxfield of Sarnia, and Joan and Ross Rundle of Petrolia. Wilhelmine will be missed by her grandchildren Greg and Sandy Maxfield, Barb Maxfield, Ron and Kim Maxfield, Carol and Allan Butt, David and Wanda Maxfield, all of Sarnia and Bob and Sheila Rundle, Kevin and Lynn Rundle and Todd Rundle (Jennifer), all of Petrolia, as well as fifteen great grandchildren. Visitors will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where a funeral service to celebrate Wilhelmine’s life will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Kelvin Toffelmire officiating. Interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Forest. Order of the Eastern Star, Forest Chapter #116 will conduct a memorial service on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Arthritis Society.
