At the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia, on Thursday, August 20, 2009. OMER TETREAULT, 76 years, of Petrolia. Loving husband of Helen (nee Beechie). Much loved father and Pépé of Dave and Bonnie Tetreault of Petrolia, and their children Joe and Becky (Sean) Van Bilsen, Ron and Deb Tetreault of Watford, and their children Michelle Tetreault and Bill Silveira, and Renée Tetreault and Morgan Jackson, Anne Marie and Bruce Klaas of Cottam, and their children Kathleen and John, and Karen and Maurice Cook of Oil Springs, and their children Connor and Cailey. Dear brother of Clara and Frank Quenneville of Merlin, Orize and Roy Frawley of Petrolia, Rosaire and Felice Tetreault of Tilbury, the late Theresa Tellier and her husband Maurice of Belle River, the late Corinne and Roy Desrosiers, the late Gerard Tetreault and his wife Blanche of Tilbury, and the late Phil Tetreault and his wife Betty of Petrolia. Dear brother-in-law of Stephen and Erika Beechie of Barrie, and Harry and Margaret Beechie of Tilbury. Omer was predeceased by his parents Solomon and Alice Tetreault, his step-mother Ida Tetreault, and a brother-in-law Maurice Baillargeon. Omer enjoyed a life of farming, fishing, tractor pulling and heavy horse shows. Visitors will be received on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where a prayer vigil will be held at 3:45 p.m. The funeral mass to celebrate Omer’s life will be held at St. Philip’s Church, King St., Petrolia on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wyoming. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
