Memorial Dr. Philip J. Dee Tuesday, September 04, 1928 - Sunday, July 02, 2006 Peacefully, at Bluewater Health – C.E.E Site, Petrolia, on Sunday, July 2, 2006. Dr. Philip J. Dee, M.B., Ch.B., C.C.F.P.(C), C.P.A., 77 years, of Petrolia. Faithful husband of 50 years, of Margaret (nee Jacka). Loving father of Shelley and Ron Hewitt of Forest, Jeff and Donna Dee of Edmonton, Jackie and Sang Kim of London and the late Catherine Dee (1966). Special grandpa to Carla and Kelly Dee, Marisa, Chloe and Ben Hewitt and Max, Sam and Lily Kim. Dear brother of Ray and Marion Dee of Auckland, New Zealand, and brother-in-law of the late Elaine (2006) Barrack and her husband Bob and Rosemary and the late Aitken McGowan all of Auckland New Zealand. Also survived by special friends, Pat and Tom Traichevich of Petrolia. Dr. Dee was an Associate Registered Accountant, graduating from the University of Auckland (1955) and a graduate of the University of Otago (New Zealand) (1963) Medical School. He and his family came to Canada in 1972 and he practiced medicine in Petrolia until 2001. Cremation has been held. A service to celebrate the life of Dr. Philip Dee will be held at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Oil Heritage District Community Centre Foundation or the Activity Fund at Lambton Meadowview Villa.
