He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, was a past president and a honorary member of the Petrolia Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, a past president and director of the Petrolia-Enniskillen Agricultural Society, a past president of Lambton Elderly Outreach, and served as the Agricultural Representative in Lambton County from 1958 to 1983. Visitors will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Bill Abraham will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Paul’s United Church, Petrolia. Mrs. Jessie Dobbyn officiating.
