Muncey, Marion and Roger of Muncey, and Ken and Noelle of Kelowna, BC. Evelyn will be missed by her thirty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Sadly missed and survived by numerous brothers and sisters in England, and several nieces and nephews in England and Ontario, and her sister-in-law Wanda Gayford. Evelyn was predeceased by a grandson Ricky (1967), and her sons Murray (1963), Jim (1996), and Don (2011). Evelyn will be missed by her friends Olive Bourassa, Betty Butler, and Gwen Hammond. She was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 216 Ladies Auxiliary. A memorial service will be held at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. At Evelyn’s request, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.   • I am so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. I have many fond memories of her while I was growing up. She was such a kind sweet lady. I know my mom considered her a 'friend' and looked forward to exchanging xmas cards every year. Let your memories help to guide you through this sad time.

  • Evelyn's Family, I'm so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. I was a neighbour around the corner from her when she lived in Petrolia on Fifth Street. I used to do her hair 25 years ago.   • I have such fond memories of Evelyn, my sister in law, but I looked on her as my big sister. When she came over to England and stayed with me and my partner we had lots of laughs and adventures and when we stayed with Evelyn in Petrolia when Jim was in the home we had such a lovely time and were made so welcome. Although so far away, I'm gonna miss my sis big time. I was hoping to be able to see Evelyn one more time, but it was not to be. RIP Evelyn, I'll always love you.
