Passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Sunday, August 19, 2012. FRANK VANDERBURGT, 80 years, of Wyoming. Frank was the loving husband of the late Mary (1999). He was the loving best friend of Maria Cornelis of Wyoming. He will be missed by his children Linda Vanderburgt of Toronto,...

Bob and Mary Jane Vanderburgt of Sarnia, and Ron and Ruth Anne Vanderburgt of Wyoming, and his grandchildren Brian and Heidi and their son Brayer, Jennifer and Blair, Emily and Shaun, Paul, Haley, and Jessica. He was loving son of the late Harry and Helen Vanderburgt. Frank was the loving brother of Francien and Leo Arts, Bill and Nellie Vanderburgt, Casey and the late Flo Vanderburgt, the late Joe Vanderburgt and his wife Astrid, the late Ann and the late Leo Arts, and the late Theresa Van Herk and her husband Arnold and his wife Marilyn. Frank will be sadly missed by his in-law's Jane and Bill Harmeyer, the late John and his wife Annie Vandeschoot, Joanne and John VandenBroek, Corry and Adrian Van Hooft, Margaret and Murray Bryce, Jean and Gord Richardson, Jo and Bill MacKenzie, Fran and Doug Aitken, and Casey and Jenny Vandeschoot. He will also be lovingly remembered by the Cornelis family and many nephews and nieces. Frank was retired member of Local 1089 of the Labourer's Union. Visitor's will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St, Wyoming. Parish prayers will be offered at 4:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Philip’s Church, King St., Petrolia. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Bluewater Health Foundation (bluewaterhealthfoundation.ca) or V.O.N.(www.von.ca).
