Obituary and Life History

Peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Born in Scotland, Ontario, the son of Duncan and Edna (nee Messecar) Turner, KEITH ANDERSON TURNER, was in his 93rd year, and was formerly of Oil Springs. Keith was a loving husband to the late Florence (nee Godson)...

He will be missed by his special friend Evelyn Atkinson, his children Jane and Dennis Regnier of Petrolia, Nancy and Enrico Del Maestro of London, Janet and Marty Maidment of Bayfield, and Ian and Lynn Turner of Oil Springs, his grandchildren Tim and Lindsay Regnier, Suzanne Regnier and Joel McCallum, Alex Del Maestro and Lauren Auger, Laura Del Maestro and Mario Jozic, Joy and Jeff Lavigne and their daughter Ava, Brad and Melissa Maidment, and Kate Turner. He will also be missed by his sisters Alison Gosnell and Marion McKay, both of Petrolia. He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law Ervin Gosnell and Wesley McKay. Keith served his country as a Leading Signalman with Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945. Visitors will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Chuck Stevens and Mrs. Laurel Pattenden officiating. Interment will follow in Oil Springs Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer’s Society of Sarnia-Lambton, Inn of the Good Shepherd, or the Sarnia & District Humane Society.
