Peacefully on Friday, April 6 2012 with his family by his side at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. BRUCE WALTER BLACKSTOCK, of Petrolia was in his 79th year. Bruce was a loving husband to the late Marlene (nee McCorkindale)(2001). Bruce will be missed by his daughters Cindy...
and Dave Vandenberghe and Debra Blackstock all of Petrolia, Beloved grandfather to Jason (Marcy), Jeremy (Nina), and Justin(Kim) Vandenberghe and great grandfather to Jadin, Cash, Dylan, and Ruby. He was predeceased by his parents William (1973) and Verlye (1978). Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Kari Lylander officiating. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made by cheque to Canadian Cancer Society or C.E.E. Hospital Foundation.
