  • Uncle Bill let me roam his barns as a little girl. He deliberately mispronounced my name. He was my catechism teacher, and I still remember some of his teaching and examples. His love for the Lord was always very obvious. I thank the Lord for his faithful life. Love to Aunt Ann and all the family.

    - Angela Bout (nee De Boer), Tepic, Nayarit

  • As a Volunteer Transportation Coordinator with the Canadian Cancer Society in Sarnia, I knew Bill over the last 4 years, mostly by his wonderfully pleasant voice over the phone, whenever I called to ask him to drive a client for us. Bill was always at the ready to help out and rare was the occasion when he wasn't available to come to the aid of a cancer patient, even at a moment's notice! Those who rode in his car are forever grateful for his gentle kindness and generosity and I already miss my weekly dose of Bill's smiling voice and caring ways. Sharing in your grief, I pray for your strength & courage and I wish you peace.
