John and Louise Deelstra of Wyoming, and Gerald and Shirley Deelstra of Wyoming. Oscar will be lovingly missed by his grandchildren, Gratiana and Tim Wilkins and their children Alicia, Adam, Ava, and Austin; Osanna, Loreen, Sacha, O.J., Nathaniel, Daniel, Andrew, Emily, Benjamin, and Abby, and his sister Dorothy Van Wyk of Wyoming. Oscar immigrated to Canada from his native Holland in 1947, and has lived in Plympton-Wyoming ever since. He was a passionate dairy farmer, and a dedicated past director of the Lambton Holstein Breeders and of the Wanstead Farmers Co-operative. Oscar was a faithful member of the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church since its inception in 1951. Visitors will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, Broadway St., Wyoming. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church (Confederation Line east of Broadway St). Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to John Knox Christian School. Memories, pictures, and condolences may be shared online at www.needhamjay.com.
