Sarnia, George and Karen McMahon of Sarnia, her twenty grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Dorothy was a sister to Sue Milner, Violet Oliver, John Beveridge, Jim Beveridge, Bill Beveridge, Donald Beveridge, and Florence Smith. She was predeceased by her son John McMahon (2011) of Petrolia and Diane Edwards (2004) of Alvinston, her parents Jack and Winnifred (nee Emerick) Beveridge, her siblings Charles, Margaret Belanger, Myrtle Shepherd, and Donna Shand. Dorothy served her country during World War II with the Canadian Army. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Bluewater Health Foundation.
